Anthony’s practice focuses on commercial and insurance litigation, regulatory and administrative law, as well as personal injury litigation and professional errors and omissions. Originally from Camrose, Alberta, he came to UBC to study law, graduating in 2003. After graduation he returned to Alberta for a year to work as a Law Clerk to Justices of the Court of Appeal and Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta in Edmonton.
Anthony is a former Special Constable with the Investigations Department of the B.C. Financial Institutions Commissions (FICOM) and has built expertise in administrative law, including proceeding before administrative and regulatory bodies.
Anthony is also building a specialty acting as counsel to persons involved in disputed electoral processes and in defamation cases involving elected representatives. Anthony has served as legal counsel to electoral campaigns and nomination contestants, including acting as counsel in Judicial Recount Proceedings.
